WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that forward Anisa Guajardo will return to the club for the 2025 season.
Guajardo played eight games for the Rain last season, starting six of them and scoring four goals.
Rain head coach Kelly Brown said bringing Guajardo back will be key for the team both on and off the field.
“Anisa brings with her so much class, determination, experience, and personality to this team,” Brown said. “She is the heart and soul of everything we compete for here at the Rain. We are looking forward to her leadership on and off the field and know she has so much to give this program this summer. She’s a special one.”
She brings a wealth of experience to the team, having been capped 13 times for the Mexican National Team and made professional stops in Australia, Iceland, Sweden, and Mexico.
“The coaching staff at Rain is top level and create a professional atmosphere as well as training sessions,” Guajardo said. “I enjoy continuing to learn and grow in the sport; I feel lucky to be part of this community another summer. The players the coaches bring in are not only great soccer players, but also wonderful people. Overall, it’s an incredibly enjoyable experience overall and there’s no where else I would rather be this summer.”
