Midfielder Payton Bell Joins Rain for 2025 Season

WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that midfielder Payton Bell will join the squad for the 2025 season.

Bell just wrapped up her freshman season at Colorado College in the fall of 2024, seeing action in three matches for the Tigers.

“Payton has really grown as a player since the first time I saw her play,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “She’s crafty, works her tail off, and has such a contagiously positive attitude. She will lift this team to a new level! I cannot wait to coach her.”

Prior to joining CC, Bell was a First Team All-State selection in 2024 for Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, where she was also a two-time Academic All-State selection.

She said she is looking forward to summer with the Rain.

“I’m very excited to join Noco RainFC for the upcoming season,” Bell said. “I’m looking forward to playing in a competitive, yet positive environment shaped by driven players and skilled and knowledgeable coaches and to play for a team that will challenge me and push me to be my best, mentally and physically, which is what Rain is all about.”
