WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that midfielder Jenelle Arenibas will return to the club for the 2026 WPSL season.
Arenibas was a contributor in midfield for the Rain last season, though she unfortunately missed a large portion of it with an injury. She will look to have a full season in Rain colors this summer.
“We cannot wait to see Jenelle boss the midfield this year,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “We lost her early last year due to an injury, but she is healthier, stronger, and hungrier than ever. She will elevate our game centrally and look to push those players around her. She doesn’t stop at average. I am excited to see her again!”
Arenibas played her junior season at MSU Denver last fall, appearing in 16 games and making a dozen starts. She scored her lone goal of the season in a 1-1 draw against Western Washington in September.
She said she is excited to return to the Rain and help defend their 2025 Rockies Division title.
“Can’t wait to sharpen and further develop my skills at NoCo Rain,” Arenibas said. “I’m excited to train in a high-level environment that will hold me to high standards.”
