WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that goalkeeper Zeeyana Jivraj will return to the squad for the 2025 season.
“She’s a leader on and off the field and a very integral part of our culture,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “She lives our values as a program and the values I preach as a coach. It’s so valuable to have her back. Our new players will learn so much from her, and I know our fans will be looking forward to seeing her play again.”
Jivraj started six games for the Rain last season, allowing just three goals and keeping four clean sheets.
“Last year with Rain was one of the best summers of my life,” Jivraj said. “Never have I experienced a team with such a perfect blend of talent and incredible personalities at once which is a testament to the entire staff for their exceptional job in recruiting individuals who not only excel on the field but also bring such vibrant energy to our team dynamic. Our team was talented and competitive last year and I’m looking forward to another summer of the same talent and competition.”
She has experience professionally in Europe with both Clube de Albergaria in Portugal and Hibernians FC in Malta.
During her college career at Youngstown State, Jivraj was named to the Horizon League All-Academic team while making 103 saves in her career for the Penguins.
