WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that defender Fiona Jenkins will return to the squad for the 2025 season.
Jenkins started seven times for Rain in 2024, and scored the first goal in club history in just the second minute of the season opener against CISA.
“I’m thrilled to have Fiona back for another year,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “She’s fast, can run for miles, is great on the defensive side of the ball, and has been a threat in the attack as well. Her personality and commitment to excellence is a perfect fit with our culture.”
Jenkins started all 18 matches at New Mexico during her sophomore season in 2024, playing the full 90 minutes a dozen times and recording her first collegiate goal and assist in more than 1,500 minutes for the Lobos.
Prior to her college career, Jenkins won the 2022 ECNL national championship with Real Colorado and was named State Cup MVP.
She said she is excited to return to NoCo for another season with the Rain.
“It felt so special to be part of a program that has both high level intensity and amazing team culture,” Jenkins said. “The team and staff created an extremely encouraging environment, and I can’t wait to get back onto the field to rep my hometown.”
