WINDSOR, Colo. – Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that defender Jordan Whiteaker will return for the 2025 season.
Whiteaker was a key cog in the Rain defense last season, leading all defenders with 10 starts and playing all across the back line.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Jordan back,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “She anchors our defense and elevates every player around her. She drove 90 minutes one way to come to practice last year, so we know her whole heart is behind our badge and her development as a player.”
After her time in NoCo last summer, Whiteaker played her freshman season at TCU in the fall. She appeared 18 times for the Horned Frogs, playing a season-high 56 minutes in a 2-1 win over BYU in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament.
She has transferred to Colorado for her sophomore season in 2025, and will play in Boulder after completing the summer with the Rain.
“I decided to return to the Rain because the atmosphere on and off the pitch is unlike any other,” Whiteaker said. “From the coaching staff to the fans, everyone is supportive and 100% for the team.”
