WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that goalkeeper Alyson Campbell has joined the club for the 2024 season.
Campbell is a college teammates with Rain forward Britney Bertram at LSU, wrapping her freshman season with the Tigers in 2023.
“She’s strong between the posts, she’s good at distributing, and she’ll bring a level of leadership and personality to the group,” Rain FC head coach Kelly Brown said.
Campbell played for Brown at club level with FC Boulder, earning MVP honors in the Colorado State Cup in 2019.
She played her high school soccer at Fairview High School in Boulder, earning Academic All-State honors twice and being named team captain during her junior and senior seasons.
She said she is excited to continue her playing career with the Rain.
“I had the opportunity to play for Kelly through my time at FC Boulder and was beyond excited to have the opportunity to play for her again,” Campbell said. “I also believe that the opportunities that are presented with playing for Rain FC and the access to resources top any other USL-W team in Colorado right now.”
