WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that defender Jolie Jiricek will be joining the squad for the 2024 season.
Jiricek currently plays collegiately at the Colorado School of Mines, where she helped the Orediggers to an RMAC tournament championship as a freshman in 2022 and a NCAA Division II Tournament berth in 2023.
“Jolie’s a great individual defender,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “We’re looking or a strong presence from her in the back line and she has the ability to get forward as well.”
Prior to her college career, Jiricek was a standout at Windsor High School, earning all-conference honors twice and all-state honors once with the Wizards.
She said she is excited to be back on the pitch in her hometown.
“It is a great opportunity to get out and play with other very talented players and to develop my own game to bring back to my college team,” Jiricek said.
