WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announces the addition of midfielder Katy Coffin to the roster for the 2024 season.
Coffin currently plays her college soccer at Colorado State University, where she has started 41 consecutive games over two seasons and helped the Rams to the 2023 Mountain West tournament championship game.
She scored twice for the Rams in a 3-0 win over Louisiana Tech on August 20, the first two goals of her college career.
“She’s versatile, she can play all over the field. We’re excited for her enthusiasm, passion, and energy,” Rain FC head coach Kelly Brown said.
Prior to her time at CSU, Coffin played her freshman season at Kansas State where she played 16 games and recorded an assist.
Coffin was a two-time all-conference selection at Grand Junction High School, tallying 12 goals and 23 assists in 29 games for the Tigers.
“I decided I wanted to play for Rain FC not only because of how amazing the opportunity it is to play for Kelly, but also how much of an impact I can help make in Northern Colorado,” Coffin said.
