WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announces the addition of forward Ally Murphy-Pauletto to the roster for the club’s inaugural season in 2024.
Murphy-Pauletto, a Colorado native, recently won the Lithuanian A Lyga with FC Gintra and participated in qualifiers for the 2023-24 UEFA Women’s Champions League against Welsh side Cardiff City and Scotland’s Glasgow City.
“Ally is a very dangerous winger. She has the speed and tenacity on the flanks to isolate defenders and get in behind,” Rain FC head coach Kelly Brown said. “She’s equally dominant with both feet, and we will be looking to her to get balls in the box and to put some in the back of the net.”
Prior to her professional career, Murphy-Pauletto played collegiately at Colorado State University, scoring the first hat trick in program history against New Mexico State in 2017. She also scored 13 goals as a senior at Boulder High School.
She will now continue her soccer career back in her home state with the Rain.
“I am so excited to play close to my home again in front of my family and friends,” Murphy-Pauletto said. “I can’t wait to have Kelly as my coach, and with some amazing women on the team. There is so much talent in this area and this new team being established is a great way to showcase and develop that.”
