WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that midfielder Mia Lorenzen will join the club for the 2026 WPSL season.
Lorenzen was with the club as a reserve last season, training with the team but not appearing in a match. She will look to play a bigger role this season as the Rain defend their WPSL Rockies Division championship.
“Mia is our youngest player and one we have seen grow tremendously over the past couple of years,” Rain head coach Kelly Brown said. “She is constantly learning and making a huge impact with the college players. I am proud of how far she has developed and I know she has a very long and very bright playing future in front of her.”
Already committed to play her college soccer at Colorado State in 2027, Lorenzen is currently playing her junior season at Fossil Ridge High School, helping the SaberCats to an 8-0 record as they look to defend their 2025 Colorado Class 5A State title.
She said she is looking forward to spending a summer with the Rain.
“I’m looking forward to playing with and against high level competition and being coached by elite coaches,” Lorenzen said.
